Gabby Gives Support For Passage of Background Check and Red Flag Law

Former Arizona U.S. Rep. Gabby Giffords joined Gov. Tim Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison during a news conference to show her support for the passage of the proposed background check and red flag law advancing in the legislature this session. Glffords, who served in the U.S. Congress with Walz and Ellison, suffered a brain injury during an assassination attempt while meeting with constituent in her district in 2012. Giffords resigned from elective office after the attack.
